Job summary

Pacific Endoscopy Center in Pearl City, HI is seeking a Part-Time Scope Processing Technician to join our gastroenterology team. You will be responsible for cleaning, reprocessing, and preparing instruments for GI procedures.

The role offers a 20–29 hour workweek with some evenings and potential Saturday shifts, no on-call or night shifts required, and opportunities to float to other centers with additional pay. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques required
• Sterilization experience in a medical setting preferred
• Knowledge of endoscopy equipment and procedures is helpful, not required

Responsibilities

• Clean, reprocess and prepare instruments for surgical procedures
• Part-time hours: 20-29 hours/week with schedule including some evenings and Saturdays

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

You will be an integral part of our gastroenterology team, responsible for cleaning, reprocessing and preparing instruments for surgical procedures.

Part-time hours require 20 - 29 hours/week.

• Monday-Friday work schedule. Some evening shifts until 7pm and some Saturday work hours may be required, depending on center needs.
• NO call required, NO Nights
• Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills:

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques

Sterilization experience in a medical setting preferred

Knowledge of endoscopy equipment and procedures is helpful, not required.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Certification as a GI Technician or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.
