Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Tech to join our surgical team, providing patient care for GI and pain procedures. You will prepare equipment, assist physicians, maintain the GI suite, document intra-procedure notes, and support Preop and Recovery.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical assistant certification
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus
• Current BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment
• Must be able to function as a team player
• Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN procedures.
• Prepare equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
• Oversee the GI procedures and maintain all aspects of the GI procedure area.
• Assess patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes.
• Assist physician on all GI procedures.
• Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area.
• Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy.
• Assist in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking
