Job summary

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. You will render professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures, prepare equipment, and assist physicians throughout GI procedures.

The position is weekdays only with no holidays or weekends and may require some evenings. Competitive salary and benefits will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certification.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of OR and GI policies and procedures.
• Strong Customer Service Skills.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures.
• Prepare equipment and anticipate physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
• Maintain GI procedure area and equipment; oversee GI procedures.
• Assist physician on all GI procedures.
• Support Preop and Recovery with turnover, discharge, and basic patient assistance.
