Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Endoscopy Tech to join our team. The role involves providing professional care to patients undergoing GI procedures, preparing equipment, and assisting in GI and PAIN management cases.

Responsibilities include preop assessment, intra-procedure note documentation, and maintaining the GI area. The position is weekdays only with no holidays or weekends, some evenings may be required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certification.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly.
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment.
• Must be able to function as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center, cooperating with physicians and staff.
• Prepare equipment and anticipate physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
• Provide general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment; oversee GI procedures and maintain all aspects of the GI procedure area.
• Assess patients prior to procedure; document intra-procedure notes; assist physician on all GI procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area; clean and maintain equipment per center policy.
• Assist in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking.
