Job summary

Mountain West Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist with GI/Endoscopy procedures under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse. The role focuses on patient care, sterilization, and unit readiness in a high-demand ambulatory setting.

You will maintain a sanitary environment, demonstrate high disinfection and proper labeling of specimens, and support the surgical team throughout procedures. Qualifications include one year of acute care experience and BCLS certification within 30

Qualifications

• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary environment for your patient.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
• Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
• Assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimens
• You will identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN
