Job summary

Alameda Health System in Oakland, CA seeks an Endoscopy Technician II to support GI and Pulmonary endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms, assist physicians and nurses, and manage endoscopic equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities include processing and high-level disinfection, device procurement, and maintaining accurate logs. Requires CST/TS-C or equivalent certification and BLS, with at least two years of GI/Pulmonary endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Two years' GI or Pulmonary Endoscopy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of GI and/or Pulmonary Endoscopy program or accredited Surgical Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment; clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain endoscopic equipment and documentation; perform quality control.
• Initiate purchase orders for endoscopic devices and supplies.
• Ensure supplies are not expired; log and track supplies.
