Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in endoscopic and interventional cases.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in Endoscopy Department.
• Clean and disinfect equipment per unit and hospital policy.
• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Perform clerical duties to support Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
• Assemble and maintain patient charts; maintain records and files; keep workstation orderly.
• Complete charges for patients.

Cleans and disinfects equipment according to unit and hospital policy. Provides appropriate patient care to the Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Performance of clerical duties as necessary to assure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy. Assemble and maintain patient chart material, maintain records and files, maintains order, cleanliness of the workstation. Completes charges for patients.
