Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Endoscopy Suite to lead patient care delivery in a fast-paced environment. The Mid-Shift (12PM-8PM) role requires clinical expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing to set unit goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensuring safety and quality through adherence to standards; and guiding staff to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN required for nursing licensure.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience.
• Current New York State RN license.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care delivery in Endoscopy suites.
• Serve as clinical resource and administrator when leaders are absent.
• Coordinate efficient and cost-effective daily operations including admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Promote safety and quality by ensuring standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Align unit goals with the director of nursing and hospital strategy.
• Monitor staff compliance with regulatory, hospital, and divisional requirements.
