Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Allen Hospital Emergency Department, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager – RN for the midshift (1pm–2am). This full-time role coordinates clinical care, supports unit administration, and mentors staff to sustain high-quality, family-centered nursing.

Requirements include a BSN, New York State nursing registration, at least 2 years in the ED, demonstrated leadership, and a Master’s degree preferred. Weekend coverage and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

• BSN required (RN) per NY state.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Emergency Department.
• Demonstrated leadership competencies in nursing.
• Current NYS RN license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure high-quality, family-centered services.
• Assist with unit administration, including staffing management.
• Counsel staff RNs, provide clinical education and follow-up procedures.
