NYC Health and Hospitals in New York, NY seeks a Head Nurse for Endoscopy to oversee nursing regimens, lead care coordination, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes at Harlem Hospital Center. The role emphasizes leadership in nursing practice and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Formación

• Valid New York State RN License required.
• Experience as a Head Nurse preferred.
• Experience in Endoscopy or similar clinical units is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients.
• Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients.
• Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Interpret and report patient responses to appropriate health team members.
• Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan comprehensive patient care.
• Assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel.
• Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel.
• Participate in defining and maintaining standards of nursing practice.
• Conduct conferences to develop nursing care plans and promote staff development.
