HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital seeks an Endoscopy RN PRN to support perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. You will evaluate patients preoperatively, educate families, and assist with IV therapy and preoperative medications to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires ARDS? (typo avoided) ACLS/BCLS within 90 days, an RN license, and an Associate Degree in Nursing. Join a team focused on patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 90 days of start date.
• RN license must be obtained/held within 90 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure and perioperative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative medications.
• Perform surgical site verification and adhere to universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies with appropriate nursing actions.
• Deliver patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons, and surgical team members.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership in safe patient care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor during shift, document changes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up care.
