Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• CA RN license required.
• 3+ years Endoscopy or high-acuity ICU experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• LA City Fire Life Safety training or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Float to Endoscopy areas providing procedural nursing care.
• Coordinate patient flow and pre/post-op assessments.
• Maintain universal patient safety goals and documentation.
• Post-op calls within 24-48 hours.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff for quality care.
• Maintain Cerner Millenium orders and charting.
