Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in Arcadia, CA is seeking a Staff RN for Surgery on a full-time day shift (8 hours, 6:45AM - 3:15PM). This union, non-exempt role requires CA RN licensure, ACLS/BLS as appropriate, and acute care experience.

The RN will plan, direct, implement, and evaluate patient care while supporting unit teamwork and quality improvement activities. Prerequisites include an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and strong competency in IV therapy and medication

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required when applicable.
• Experience in surgical/acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to surgical patients per standards.
• Coordinate with nurses, LVNs, and aides for patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
