Job summary

Texas Endoscopy (Plano Endo-West) is seeking a Registered Nurse Endoscopy to prepare patients, equipment and room for endoscopy procedures and to assist physicians during procedures.

Candidates must have at least one year of endoscopy experience, active Texas RN license, ACLS and BLS, and be comfortable with endoscope manipulation under physician direction. The center emphasizes a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Endoscopy (GI).
• ACLS & BLS are required and must be American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to endoscopy procedures.

• Prepare patients, equipment and room for endoscopy procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain and update skills and knowledge of endoscopy procedures and techniques.
• Provide multi-dimensional care for assigned patients.
