• Provides patient education and ensures effective communication with patients and families.
• Supervises and coordinates care assignments within the nursing team.
• Prepares for procedures by obtaining supplies and equipment.
• Serves as a resource and mentor to junior staff and participates in evaluations.
• Performs duties that may include direct patient care and maintenance of records.
