Salinas Valley Health is seeking a Staff Nurse II in the Endoscopy department in Salinas, CA. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and supervise patient care under the Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with physicians and families to ensure age-appropriate care.

Required: ASN, CA RN license, BLS, and 1–3 years Endoscopy in acute care. BSN preferred. The role includes shift variety and potential cross-unit coverage within the hospital.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years RN endoscopy experience in acute care.
• Provides, delegates, and coordinates plan of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge for age-appropriate patient care.

Responsabilités

• Complete nursing assessments and document in patient record.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team in care planning.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Act as preceptor/charge nurse as assigned.
• Support department goals and participate in performance improvement.
