Job summary

SCA Health in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy to support perioperative care for GI procedures. You will plan and execute patient care, administer medications safely, and oversee anesthesia recovery within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and RN license.
• GI/OR nursing experience preferred and relevant certifications.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable per policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop perioperative patient plan of care and coordinate with team.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights of medication administration.
• Manage anesthesia recovery: moderate sedation and MAC.
• Maintain endoscopy scopes/instruments per policy and keep them functional.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning as part of care.
• Document care accurately and ensure patient safety throughout.
