Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy. This full-time, 36-hour position includes on-call responsibilities with rotating Saturdays every 6 weeks and requires living within 30 minutes of the hospital.

You will deliver and coordinate patient-centered care using evidence-based practice, ensuring a safe environment and smooth transitions to home or other care settings. A BSN is preferred and CPR is required; ADN with BSN plan is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with enrollment in BSN within four years.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient-centered care using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care across units and transitions to home or other facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety in the patient environment.
