Job summary

USPI St Joesphs Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment. The role covers pre-op holding, Endoscopy suite, and PACU nursing care, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, 1–3 years of PreOP/PACU experience, BLS/ALS/PALS, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff in a dynamic peri-operative setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU; ambulatory surgical center experience preferred; current BLS, ALS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and unit cleanliness.
• Communicate information to team members and coordinate with peri-operative departments.
• Assist physicians with Endoscopy procedures per SGNA guidelines.
• Monitor patient safety during conscious sedation and recovery.
