Job summary

USPI Southwest Endoscopy and Surgicenter is hiring an Endoscopy RN PRN to join a fast-paced ASC environment. The role focuses on planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care for endoscopy patients while adhering to state standards and center policies.

Responsibilities include patient care in pre-op, endoscopy suite, and PACU, with potential cross-coverage for other peri-operative areas. GI experience and active BLS/ALS/PALS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1-3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU, ED, Critical Care, Med Surg/Tele.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• GI experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Provide patient care per state standards and facility policies.
• Communicate information to team members and maintain equipment and unit cleanliness.
• May support Pre-Op, PACU or other peri-operative duties and participate in quality initiatives.
