Job summary

The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI is seeking an Endoscopy RN to deliver direct nursing care under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. You will manage the nursing process from intake to discharge for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, coordinating with physicians and the health care team.

The role requires current RN licensure in RI (or NLC), BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of medical‑surgical and telemetry experience; endoscopy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license in RI or NLC participation.
• Certified in Basic Life Support; ACLS certification required.
• Two years medical-surgical nursing with telemetry experience.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex needs.
• Delegate and supervise nursing care with staff as assigned.
• Coordinate discharge planning with patients, families and resources.
• Monitor during conscious sedation and post-procedure care.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and prepare instruments.
• Maintain safety, infection control and fall precautions.
