Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc in Rhode Island seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Endoscopy to provide high-quality, efficient patient care during pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases. The RN will apply nursing standards and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

RN must hold an RI license with ACLS/BLS, and have 1–3 years of medical/surgical experience; endoscopy skills preferred. Per Diem, Mon–Fri with flexible hours; no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• RI Nursing license required; ACLS and BLS
• 1–3 years RN experience; orthopedic, neurosurgical, pain management experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification required
• Per Diem, Monday–Friday with flexible hours; no weekends/holidays/on-call

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing patient care delivery systems, standards and procedures.
• Applies age-specific standards for medications and care.
• Collaborates with physicians and team to educate patients and families and plan discharge.
• Participates in performance improvement with data collection and analysis.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and appropriate delegation to staff for safe care
