Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an RN to join the Endoscopy GI Lab in Birmingham. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires Alabama RN licensure and BLS, with potential for professional growth within a nationally recognized health system. Schedule is Mon-Fri with extended hours and rotating call, and work location is UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.

Qualifications

• RN role requires state licensure and clinical competencies.
• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Experience in nursing care coordination desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Discharge planning coordination with healthcare team.
