Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the GI Lab (Endoscopy) as a PRN, as-needed role. The RN will respond to codes and provide patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on collaborative care with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a graduate of an approved nursing program, Alabama RN license (or valid multistate license), and BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Alabama RN license or valid multistate RN license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification current.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC as required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan individualized patient care based on needs and responses.
• Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide nursing care in GI Lab / Endoscopy units.
• Serve as patient and family advocate and educator.
• Document care and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
