Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit to manage individualized patient care, collaborate with physicians, and provide support during procedures. The role emphasizes aseptic technique, equipment preparation, and accurate documentation.

The RN will also monitor equipment, assist during endoscopic procedures, handle specimen labeling, and participate in emergency resuscitation per ACLS standards. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs endoscopy procedure setup and assists during procedures.
• Ensures proper aseptic technique and prepares the endoscopy suite.
• Maintains sterile equipment, tests function and handles specimens.
• Documents patient condition and vitals during nursing care.
• Initiates emergency resuscitation per ACLS guidelines.
