Cleveland Clinic Health System in Warrensville Heights, OH, is seeking an RN HOPS in Endoscopy at South Pointe Hospital to join a busy GI team delivering world‑class patient care and advanced procedures.

You will provide pre/intra and post procedural nursing care, collaborate with physicians and staff, perform nursing procedures, educate patients and families, and participate in department education and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
• One year of recent RN experience or two years of LPN in the same department

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in the GI Endoscopy unit.
• Assess patients, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans with patients, families and the health care team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in education, research and performance improvement activities.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
