Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN HOPS for the Endoscopy unit at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. This part-time role delivers pre/post-endoscopy nursing care to inpatients, with collaborative care planning and documentation to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, and coordination of discharge planning. BLS required; ACLS within six months; CRNI/VA-BC preferred within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) required.
• Current RN license and BLS; ACLS within first six months of employment.
• CRNI or VA-BC preferred within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Maintain standards of care and evaluate/an initiative improvements.
• Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the department.
• Educate patients and families.
