Job summary

University Hospitals in Elyria, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in Endoscopy to deliver age-appropriate care using the nursing process. This role supports safe, efficient procedures and patient outcomes in a fast-paced unit.

Schedule features 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with on-call requirements. Requires BSN or MSN, OH RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required per unit. Travel 10% per year.

Qualifications

• BSN Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) or MN Master in Nursing (Required).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact (Required Upon Hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required Upon Hire).
• ACLS and PALS may be required depending on unit's standards. Refer to unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process delivering relationship-based care.
• Demonstrates technical skills for safe practice and positive outcomes.
• Communicates clearly and collaborates to optimize patient care and operations.
• Develops self and contributes to professional nursing practice.
• Exhibits leadership influencing clinical and operational outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains PHI and complies with UH policies and training.
