Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Functions as patient and family advocate.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage care.
• Delivers care appropriate to age-specific needs and maintains documentation per standards.
• Precepts, serves as charge nurse, educator, or nurse clinician as assigned.
• Maintains compliance with hospital policies and supports improvement initiatives.
