Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an RN for Endoscopy at the CNRVMC in Christiansburg, VA. The role is full-time with day/evening shifts from 07:45 to 17:15 and four 9-hour days, plus on-call as needed.

You will provide age-appropriate nursing care, assess and plan patient care, document in EMR, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes. BLS is required with potential ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care for patients of all ages.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Documents age-specific assessments and care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Administers treatments and medications and documents care in EMR.
