Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health’s Endoscopy department in New Brunswick seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for day-shift coverage. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting with strict adherence to safety and ethics.

On-call rotations and weekend coverage are possible as part of the schedule. The ideal candidate holds an ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred within 5 years) with 3–5 years of RN experience in critical care and 2–3 years in Endoscopy.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN must be completed within 5 years on hire
• 3–5 years RN experience in critical care required
• Endoscopy experience – 2–3 years required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the care team and collaborate with other providers
• Prioritize patient care with measurable outcomes and maintain safety and quality standards
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population served and report safety issues promptly
