Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department at the New Brunswick campus. The role supports clinical care across procedures and patient management, aligning with established nursing standards.

The candidate will operate within a dynamic team, covering day shifts with 40 hours/week, including some weekends/holidays and on-call as needed. NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma; BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire.
• At least 3-5 years of RN experience in critical care required.
• Endoscopy experience – at least 2-3 years required.
• CPAN, CAPA and/or CGRN National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics.
• Ensure patient safety and coordinate with the care team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members; contribute to quality improvement.
