Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Endoscopy Nurse for our Overland Park location. You will plan and deliver safe nursing care during the intra-operative period, covering surgical and GI patients, and transfer care to recovery.

You will also perform circulating or scrub duties across age groups and ensure equipment and room readiness. The role requires an OR background, RN license (or compact licensure), BCLS at start, and facility-driven ACLS; CNOR/SGNA certifications are

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required; RN license required or valid compact licensure.
• BCLS certification required at employment; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR / SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care during intra-operative period for surgical and GI patients.
• Perform duties of circulating or scrub role across all age groups.
• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for procedures and maintain readiness of room.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator and facilitate smooth transitions between procedures.
