Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Blue River Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Endoscopy Nurse to provide perioperative care for surgical and GI patients. You’ll perform circulating or scrub duties, oversee instrument setup, and ensure safe nursing care through the intra-operative phase.

Qualifications include an RN license, Nursing Diploma, and BCLS with ACLS as required by the facility. CNOR/SGNA certification is preferred, with PRN/part-time shifts available at this center in Kansas City, MO under HCA

Qualifications

• Active RN license required or compact licensure.
• BCLS certification required upon employment (online not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR and/or SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical and GI procedures and oversee instrument/equipment setup.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transitions between procedures.
• Utilize and update all preference cards as necessary.
