Job summary

Surgery Center of Anchorage, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Endoscopy Nurse to support intra-operative care for surgical and GI patients. You will perform circulating or scrub duties and ensure safe nursing care through transfer to recovery.

In this role you will oversee room setup, coordinate case flow as circulator, and update preference cards as needed. Requires Nursing Diploma, RN license, BCLS; ACLS and CNOR/SGNA preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR / SGNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup and knowledge of surgical and GI procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures.
• Utilize and update preference cards as necessary
