Job summary

United Digestive in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care within the GI endoscopy center. You will follow physician orders, apply certified techniques, and participate in planning, executing, and evaluating care across all patient phases.

The role requires current RN license, GI endoscopy experience preferred, BLS certification, ACLS certification is recommended but optional, and completion of the airway management module prior to IV conscious sedation.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• GI endoscopy experience preferred.
• GI specialty society membership encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• ACLS certification recommended but optional.
• Completion of Airway Management Module required prior to administering IV conscious sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the GI endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care in accordance with physicians orders and nursing standards.
• Interact with patients through all stages of their procedure experience and ensure safety and quality care.
• May travel to a sister center as needed.
