Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Overland Park Surgery Center in Kansas seeks a Registered Endoscopy Nurse PRN to plan, execute, and evaluate intra-operative nursing care for surgical and GI patients. You will perform circulating or scrub duties and ensure safe, high-quality care until transfer to recovery.

Qualified candidates have a Nursing Diploma, RN license, BCLS, ACLS, and preferably CNOR/SGNA certification, with at least 2 years in OR settings and ambulatory centers.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required and RN license.
• Minimum 2 years in operating room, ambulatory center preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR/SGNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate efficient transition between procedures.
• Utilize and update preference cards as needed.
