Job summary

Blue River Surgery Center, a part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Endoscopy Nurse to support intra-operative care for surgical and GI patients, applying the nursing process to plan, execute and evaluate care until transfer to recovery. You may serve as circulating or scrub in patients of various ages.

You will oversee instrument setup, coordinate the room during cases as the circulator, and ensure smooth transitions between procedures.

Qualifications

• RN license required or compact licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years in operating room; ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• Valid BCLS certification required at employment (online cert not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR and SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment set-up for surgical and GI procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during cases as the circulator.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between procedures.
• Utilize and update preference cards for ongoing procedures.
