Lowcountry Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to prepare patients, equipment, and room for Endoscopy procedures. You will assist physicians and maintain endoscopy nursing standards under physician direction.

Graduate nurses with SC licensure and ACLS/BLS are required, along with GI Endoscopy experience. Excellent terminology knowledge and a patient-focused approach are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum one year of Endoscopy (GI) experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required per AHA.
• Experience with endoscope manipulation under physician direction.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the SC Board of Nursing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to endoscopy.

Endoscopy Registered Nurse at Lowcountry Endoscopy Center

The Registered Nurse Endoscopy, prepares patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures. Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures. Specialized knowledge, experience and training is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician. Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility. Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Endoscopy nursing care according to accepted standards. Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge of Endoscopy procedures and techniques. Provides multi-dimensional care for assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Endoscopy (GI)
• ACLS and BLS are required and must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Currently licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of SC
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and procedures for an endoscopy procedure room.
