Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for our York County Outpatient Endoscopy Center in Rock Hill, SC. The RN will plan, direct and coordinate nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients, ensuring safe, high-quality care and compliance with standards.

Requirements include RN licensure, 1+ year hospital experience (M/S or ICU), BLS, and strong nursing judgment. GI experience is preferred; ACLS/PALS may be included in education plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS/PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.

About the Opportunity

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
