USPI's Charleston Endoscopy Center is hiring an Endoscopy Registered Nurse. You will prepare patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures and assist physicians during procedures.
The role requires ACLS and BLS, and a current SC RN license, with experience in endoscope manipulation and familiarity with medical terminology. The Registered Nurse Endoscopy, prepares patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures. Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures. Specialized knowledge, experience and training is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician. Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility. Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Endoscopy nursing care according to accepted standards. Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge of Endoscopy procedures and techniques. Provides multi-dimensional care for assigned patients.
