Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health in Louisiana seeks a Surgical Technologist to ensure availability of equipment and supplies for endoscopy and surgical procedures; you will scrub for procedures and assist for endoscopy under RN supervision.

The role requires graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or 5 years of experience; BLS certification is required, Surgical Technology certification preferred, and a flexible schedule including on-call.

Qualifications

• Experience with sterile/aseptic techniques and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of surgery procedures and operative instruments.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including 24/7/on-call.
