Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our team in Idaho Falls. You will care for patients undergoing endoscopic and ophthalmic procedures, administer pre-procedure meds, monitor IVs, and guide patients through discharge in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with colleagues, patient safety, and education for patients and families. Idaho licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, with perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Idaho LPN or RN licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• Endoscopic/perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for endoscopy and ophthalmic patients, including assessment and post-procedure care.
• Start and monitor IVs; administer pre-procedure medications and instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain after procedures; educate patients and families.
• Ensure patient safety and collaborate with team until discharge to home.
