Job summary

Hayden Surgery Center is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to collaborate with OR, preop and PACU teams in Idaho. You will oversee safe, efficient perioperative care, assess patients before and after surgery, manage patient flow, and maintain sterile technique while adhering to established standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Idaho RN license with BLS/ACLS within three months of hire and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide perioperative care across procedural, operative, preop and PACU areas.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and sterile technique.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in procedure, operating, preoperative and recovery rooms.
• Develop and implement care plans for surgical patients.
• Maintain and update patient health records with care details.
• Coordinate with OR, Pre-op and PACU teams for patient flow and safety.
• Assist with preop assessments, verification of history, labs and medications.
• Ensure sterility and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Communicate with surgeons and anesthesia teams regarding patient status.
• Adhere to safety rules and facility policies.
