Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements intra-operative nursing care in accordance with division standards and regulatory requirements.
• Organizes specialty program modification based on departmental goals and physician needs.
• Communicates operating room concerns and policy changes to the NM.
• Directs and coordinates nursing care activities of surgical services.
• Facilitates materials management and inventory for specialty instruments and supplies.
• Maintains efficient service-specific material locator system.
• Keeps credentialing up to date and ensures CEU compliance.
• Maintains scheduling database in collaboration with Surgery MIS Manager.
• Ensures timely completion of scheduled cases and coordinates with Control Desk.
