Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse to contribute to patient care during intra-operative GI procedures. The RN will plan and deliver safe nursing care, serving as a circulator or scrub in the endoscopy setting, ensuring smooth transitions between steps of the procedure.

With at least 2 years OF OR experience, you will work within a dynamic team at the Austin Endoscopy Center and participate in ongoing nursing initiatives and education. BCLS and ACLS are required, CNOR/SGNA preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience; ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS certification required at employment; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility; CNOR/SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for surgical GI procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transitions between procedures.
