Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital's GI Lab in Park Ridge, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for a part-time role (0.5 FTE). The 20-hour schedule includes 7am-7pm weekday shifts and some weekends, with a fast-paced environment supporting GI procedures such as colonoscopy and endoscopy.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited nursing program, active state RN license, and BLS certification, plus strong teamwork and clinical judgment for high-quality patient care in a busy hospital unit.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Endoscopy/GI experience required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Assist in GI procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
