Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant in El Cerrito to support clinicians and ensure the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist dentists, take radiographs, maintain sterile rooms, and help with charting and supplies to enable efficient, high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a state certification or license as required, and the ability to travel between offices.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with required state certification/licensure.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required for travel between offices.
• Travel between multiple offices may be planned or unplanned and is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience and PPE.
• Escort patients to/from front desk and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain clean, sterile operatory and handle radiographs as directed.
• Prepare treatment trays, manage supplies, and chart patient records.
• Support infection control, patient education, and post-treatment care.
