Kingfisher Recruiting is assisting a well-established, physician-led group on Long Island in hiring an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner for a 100% outpatient practice. Flexible hours are available, with options for part-time or full-time, Monday–Friday, and no on-call.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating endocrine conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, coordinating with physicians and care teams, supervising nurses and staff, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation
Qualificações
- NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
- BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Trained in Endocrinology.
- 8+ years experience as a NP.
Responsabilidades
- Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions including diabetes and thyroid disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, options, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain thorough EMR documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams for seamless care.
- Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
