Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Lead, Advanced Practice Provider for Endocrinology IP and Consult. You will supervise APPs (PAs and APRNs) while maintaining clinical practice in the department, overseeing scheduling, performance reviews, and quality initiatives.

The role requires a Master's in nursing, Texas APRN licensure, and 3+ years of APP leadership experience, with additional prescriptive authority and board certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing and Texas APRN license required.
• 3 years of APP experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Graduate education and Texas Board authorization consistent with clinical role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inpatient and outpatient APP coverage and scheduling.
• Conducts annual performance evaluations for APP staff.
• Reviews safety events related to APP clinical practice.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives for APPs.
• Provides diagnosis and management within scope of practice.
